This 16 hour course is designed to prepare individuals who have training and/or experience in the field of home inspection to pass nationally recognized, association and state exams. Passing these examinations requires a working knowledge of inspection methods, building systems, reporting methods and professional practices, as well as commonly encountered code compliance and safety issues. This Kaplan Course serves as a review of all of these topics as they relate to examinations and additionally familiarizes students with exam protocols and sound test taking strategies.

The National Home Inspector Examination® (NHIE®) is widely regarded as the best home inspector competence test available-it is currently required by 16 state regulatory bodies for competency assessment, and is the membership test required by may professional inspection associations. In the growing and increasingly competitive world of home inspection, passing the nationally recognized exams can enhance your credentials and give clients a good reason to choose you as their professional home inspector. The Kaplan National Home Inspector Exam® Prep course can give you the tools and knowledge you need to pass these challenging exams.

Upon completion of this class students will be ready to take and successfully pass the nationally recognized home inspector/licensing exams or state/association exams.
