individual eight-hour home study home inspector courses
on the inspection topic(s) of your choice! These correspondence
home inspection courses include an online final exam*,
which you are required to pass with a 65% or better grade
to receive CE credit. The online exam may be taken up
to 3 times (full course fee applies to retake exam after
second retake).
*Proctoring is required in Texas, Illinois, Nevada and West Virginia.

This 8 hour* course will teach students the basic requirements of inspection safety. Students will acquire general knowledge of the potential hazards inherent to accessing remote areas of the home, as well as the proper use of tools that help to ensure inspector and client safety. Emphasis will be placed upon understanding the ramifications and magnitude of safety issues found, or potentially encountered, during the inspection.

Know the Ins & Outs: of Structures, Interiors, and Roof Inspection 101
This home study course will provide you with a sound introduction
to the classification of structural, interior, and roofing
systems specific to residential dwellings, with special
emphasis on the components accessible during a resale
home inspection. This home inspection course also covers
proper installation practices of these systems in residential
construction including history, sources of information,
foundations, framing, interior finishes, roofing types,
and vapor retarders.
