During that time, with his wife Julie managing the office, they have inspected in excess of 16,000 residential and commercial buildings. Because of their commitment to the industry, they have been writing curriculum and training home inspectors since 1990. Together, for the benefit of their students, they developed Kaplan’s state of the art ‘hands on’ training center located in Minneapolis, MN. Members of ASHI since 1991, either Doug or Julie are fully equipped to provide guidance to anyone entering the home inspection profession.
