Enhanced
Home Inspection Course - 11 days...$2999* + tax
Eleven days, totaling ninety hours of classroom and field
instruction. A pre-requisite upon registration is completion
of approximately 120 hours of home study using our selected
course materials. The preparatory work is vitally important
to the student as the study guides and video tapes provide
valuable insight into the home inspection profession. Once
the homework is completed the student is then “primed”
for the first day of class.
Fast
Track Home Inspection Course - 6 days....$1599* + tax
Six days of intensive, fast paced instruction, totaling approximately
fifty-five hours of classroom and field instruction. A prerequisite
upon registration is the completion of approximately 55 hours
of homework prior to the first day of class. We recommend
this course for people with a construction or related background
who are needing to apply their skills and knowledge to a new
home inspection career.
Correspondence
Home Inspection Course -125 hrs...$1495* + tax
Seven modules covering: The Home Inspection Business, Marketing
and Sales, Scope of Inspections, Foundations and Structures,
Exteriors, Roofs, Building Codes, Plumbing, Electrical, Heating,
Insulation/Ventilation and Air Conditioning. Students complete
on-site report forms relevant to each module topic they are
studying. These completed report forms are reviewed by Kaplan
to judge competency and report writing skills. The course,
tests and final examinations are designed to provide the student
with quality information and knowledge in compliance with
the American Society of Home Inspectors Standards of Practice
and Code of Ethics. Correspondence testing is available on-line.
