The State of Rhode Island Requires:

Kaplan Offers:

Pass a licensing exam approved or administered by the Board.
Maintain and file with the board a certificate of insurance for errors and omissions and general liability Insurance coverage (both for a minimum of $250,000). Our unique Pay Per Inspection Insurance Program is perfect for the new home inspector.
Have assisted in not less than 50 home inspections in the presence of a licensed home inspector.

Assistance in locating an active Rhode Island Licensed Home Inspector to complete this requirement and continued support throughout this portion of your training.

Submission of Associate Home Inspector application and fees. Assistance in the application process (not including application fees).

To Be Licensed as a Rhode Island Licensed Home Inspector...

The State of Rhode Island Requires:

Have been engaged as a licensed associate home inspector for at least 1 year and have completed 100 home inspections for compensation or meet other experience requirements. Assistance in the process of becoming a Licensed Associate Home Inspector and continued support throughout this portion of training.
Submission of Associate Home Inspector application and fees. Assistance in the application process (not including application fees).
