The Kaplan location nearest to Alaska residents are our California, Colorado and Minnesota licensed schools.

The State of Alaska Requires:	Kaplan Offers:
To inspect new homes only, you must pass four (4) state exams on building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing. If you are inspecting existing homes only, you must pass the National Home Inspector Exam. If you are inspecting both new and existing homes, you must pass all exams listed above.
File with the board General Liability insurance with limits of at least $20,000 property damage, $50,000 injury/death to one person $100,000 injury/death to more than one person.	List of insurance providers available; contact a Career Counselor for more information.
Submission of application for registration as a Home Inspector.	Assistance in the application process (not including application fees).
