Georgia Contractor Licensing / Continuing Education |
Legislative Summary
In the state of Georgia Electrical Contractors are required to complete at least 4 hours of approved continuing education annually from an education provider meeting these requirements: 1. institute of higher education; or 2. vocational technical school; or 3. trade, technical, or accredited college or university; or 4. a post secondary institute under the jurisdiction of the Georgia Board of Technical and Adult Education or the equivalent agency of another state or local government; or 5. an organization consisting of the members of a trade, technical, or professional group; or 6. a public utility; or 7. a conditioned air equipment manufacturer.
