Obtaining your Professional
Real Estate Inspector’s License

Leonard-Hawes offers several options on for you to obtain a Professional Inspector license, the only license that permits you to work independently or with a company. Choose the package that best fits with your past experience and study preferences. Individual package components may also be purchased separately – click here for descriptions and tuition.

Important information
for Professional Real Estate Inspector license applicants:

The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) has increased the number of education hours required to apply for a Professional Inspector license without a sponsor from 188 to 448,
effective January 1st, 2005. Don’t worry, Leonard-Hawes has got you covered! Options 1, 2, and 3 will cover your entire 448-hour education requirement.

If you have already started a 188-hour program to obtain your license without a sponsor but were unable to finish before December 31st, 2004, please call one of our career counselors at 1-888-323-9235 to help you create your own customized program.

If you have already chosen a sponsoring Professional Real Estate Inspector, Options 4 and 5 will cover your entire education requirement.
