To Be Licensed as a North Carolina Associate Home Inspector...

The State of North Carolina Requires:

Submission of Associate Home Inspector application and fees. Assistance in the application process (not including application fees).
Pass a licensing exam prescribed by the Board.
Be employed by or affiliated with or intend to be employed by or affiliated with a North Carolina Licensed Home Inspector and submit a sworn statement by that licensed home inspector certifying that the licensed home inspector will "actively supervise and train the applicant."

To Be Licensed as a North Carolina Licensed Home Inspector...

Have a minimum net assets or a bond in an amount not less than $5,000. List of Surety Companies licensed to do business in North Carolina . Contact a Career Counselor for more information.
Passed Exam administered by the state.
Have been engaged as a licensed associate home inspector for at least 1 year and have completed 100 home inspections for compensation or meet other education experience. Assistance in the process of becoming a Licensed Associate Home Inspector and Continued support throughout this portion of training.
