The State of Nevada Requires:
Kaplan Offers:

Complete a minimum of 40 Hours of approved Home Inspection education. Our Fast Track Inspection Course is State approved for 52 hours or Enhanced Residential Inspection Course is State approved for 86 hours.

Complete Nevada 102 On-site Inspection Course - OR - Submit a log of at least 25 inspections observed by a certified general inspector, certified master inspector for a fee, or an instructor approved by the Division.
Our Nevada 102 On-site Inspection course meets this requirement.

Pass an Examination approved by the Division. Our online Virtual Exam Prep Course and on-line Practice Exam enhance your classroom experience and give you the edge you need to pass your state Exam.

Maintain and file with the board proof of a certificate of general liability and errors and omissions insurance. List of insurance providers available; contact a Career Counselor for more information.

Submission of Home Inspector application and fees Assistance in the application process (not including application fees).

In Nevada an inspector is required to complete three hours of Safety Training in order to renew their license. Kaplan's new three hour Safety First! course is the only safety-specific approved class in Nevada.

The State of Nevada requires 25 field inspections for new inspectors. The Nevada 102 On-site Inspection course meets the state's field inspection requirement.
