Connecticut Home Inspection Intern Permit

The State of Connecticut Requires:

Kaplan Offers:

Complete 40 Hours of Approved Home Inspection Education. Our Fast Track Inspection Course – State approved for 40 hours; or our Enhanced Residential Inspection Course—State Approved for 40 Hours. The only ASHI endorsed classroom course.
Applicants must have an identified Supervisor who is a home inspector in good standing in Connecticut and who has agreed to provide supervisory functions as described in the General Statutes. Assistance in locating a Supervisor who is a Connecticut Licensed Home Inspector. Continued support throughout this portion of training.
Submission of Home Inspector application and fees. Assistance in the application process (not including application fees).

Connecticut Home Inspector License

The State of Connecticut Requires:

Applicants must have earned a home inspector Intern Permit and performed 100 home inspections under the supervision of a licensed home inspector (direct supervision required for the first 10 inspections, then may be indirect for the remaining training period). Assistance in locating a Supervisor who is a Connecticut Licensed Home Inspector. Continued support throughout this portion of training.
40 Hours of Approved Home Inspection Education. Our Fast Track Inspection Course – State approved for 40 hours; or our Enhanced Residential Inspection Course – State approved for 40 hours.
Passed Exam administered by the state. Our online, Virtual Exam Prep Course will enhance your classroom experience giving you the needed edge to pass the state exam the first time.
Submission of Home Inspector application and fees. Assistance in the application process (not including application fees).
